Rapid Antigen Test

A simple solution for reporting Rapid Antigen Test results to your organisation. All within the palm of your hand.

Our Service

Perform Test & Record Result

Employees use RATs on a schedule set out by your organisation, and record their result in our secure purpose-built web-based application, which can be used on any phone with a web browser.

Result Reported

The results are reported back to your H&S manager, and submitted into the employees’ My Covid Record.
The result is also available immediately in the app so employees can use it to show clients COVID-19 has not been detected.

Access RAT supply

We’ve made our service flexible – we can provide you with regular monthly supplies of RATs, or use your own self-sourced private supply. The choice is yours.

All Rapid Antigen Tests supplied by APHG are from the private supply market and are approved for use by the Ministry of Health.
Any results processed through the app, no matter where the RAT was sourced from, are charged per result.

How to do a Rapid Antigen Test

Collecting a sample

Remove a nasal swab from the pouch.

Insert the swab into one of your nostrils up to 2-3cm from the edge of the nostril.

Slowly roll the swab 5 times over the surface of the nostril. Using the same swab, repeat this collection process in the other nostril.

Check the kit box instructions to confirm the correct time frame to read your result. This may vary depending on the kit.

Collecting a sample

Peel off aluminium foil seal from the top of the extraction vial, which contains the extraction buffer.

Place the swab into the extraction vial. Rotate the swab vigorously at least 5 times.

Remove the swab by rotation the swab against the vial, while squeezing the sides to release the liquid from the swab.

Close the vial with the provided cap and push firmly onto the vial. Mix thoroughly by flicking the bottom of the tube.

Turn vial upside down and hold sample over sample well. Squeeze via gently. Allow between 3 – 5 drops to fall into the sample well.

Please check on the kit instructions and follow the confirmed time to check for your test result. Dispose of the used kit in your general waste.

Reading your result
